NBEMS has made the hall ticket available for candidates who applied under the 2026 Direct Recruitment process. The admit card release follows the revised examination programme issued by the Board.
Candidates should download the document as soon as possible rather than waiting until the examination date. After downloading it, every applicant should compare the personal information and examination details printed on the hall ticket with their application records.
If there is any discrepancy or the candidate faces a technical problem while accessing the admit card, the matter should be taken up through the official NBEMS communication channels without delay.
The examination dates have been revised from the earlier schedule. NBEMS has now fixed the Stage-I examination across two days, with different posts assigned separate shifts.
| Date | Post | Examination Time |
|---|---|---|
| 15 September 2026 | Junior Assistant | 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon |
| 15 September 2026 | Junior Accountant | 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM |
| 16 September 2026 | Junior Programmer | 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon |
| 16 September 2026 | Stenographer | 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM |
| 16 September 2026 | Deputy Director (Medical) | 02:00 PM to 05:30 PM |
The hall ticket can be obtained online. Candidates should use the credentials generated during the application process and access the admit-card page through the official NBEMS platform.
Candidates should keep the printed admit card safely because the hall ticket is an important document for entry to the examination centre.
Candidates can access the examination login through the direct admit-card portal or reach it through the official NBEMS website.

The admit card is more than an entry pass. Candidates should use it to confirm their complete examination arrangements before travelling to the centre.
Candidates should arrive at the examination venue with the documents specified by NBEMS. At a minimum, applicants should prepare the following items:
Candidates should make sure that the identity document is an original and valid document. Photocopies or digital copies should not be treated as substitutes unless NBEMS specifically permits them.
The Direct Recruitment examination relates to five categories of posts. The total number of advertised vacancies is 53.
| Post | Group | Vacancies |
|---|---|---|
| Deputy Director (Medical) | Group A | 1 |
| Junior Programmer | Group B | 1 |
| Junior Accountant | Group C | 4 |
| Stenographer | Group C | 7 |
| Junior Assistant | Group C | 40 |
| Total | — | 53 |
For the Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant positions, the first stage is a Computer Based Test. The examination is designed to assess candidates through an objective-type paper.
| Feature | Stage-I CBT |
|---|---|
| Total Questions | 200 |
| Maximum Marks | 200 |
| Duration | 180 minutes |
| Negative Marking | 0.25 mark for each wrong answer |
| Qualifying Marks – SC/ST/PwBD/ESM | 40% |
| Qualifying Marks – Other Candidates | 50% |
Candidates shortlisted from Stage-I for the Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant posts will proceed to the second stage according to the prescribed selection rules.
The Stage-II test carries 100 marks and has a duration of 75 minutes. It may assess computer-related abilities and post-specific skills such as data entry, word processing, computer operation and stenography, depending on the position.
NBEMS will call candidates for the Stage-II test based on the merit prepared from the first-stage examination and the prescribed category-wise vacancies.
The original examination schedule placed the Direct Recruitment examination on 5 and 6 September 2026. NBEMS subsequently issued a rescheduling notice and moved the examination to 15 and 16 September 2026.
Candidates should therefore rely on the revised timetable and, most importantly, the information displayed on their current admit card instead of following the earlier dates.
Candidates should not confuse the city intimation slip with the examination hall ticket. These documents serve different purposes.
The city slip should not be treated as a substitute for the admit card.
Candidates can avoid last-minute problems by completing a simple checklist before leaving for the examination centre.
With the revised examination dates approaching, candidates should use the remaining preparation period efficiently.
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Online Registration Started | 7 July 2026 |
| Last Date for Registration | 31 July 2026 |
| City Intimation Slip | 18 August 2026 |
| Admit Card Release | 11 September 2026 |
| Revised CBT | 15 & 16 September 2026 |
| Tentative Result | 30 September 2026 |
Since the examination is only a few days away, candidates should not postpone downloading the hall ticket. The centre location and reporting requirements can affect travel arrangements, particularly for applicants appearing outside their home city.
Candidates should also check whether their particular post is scheduled in the morning or afternoon session. The revised programme does not place all five posts in the same shift.
