Selected applicants will receive monthly remuneration structured according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix alongside standard Central Government allowances.

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications & Age Limit

The cut-off date for assessing age limits and educational qualifications is November 03, 2026.

1. Store Keeper Grade II

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (12th Standard) or an equivalent examination from a recognized education board

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in store handling/inventory management in a recognized firm, PSU, or Government institution.

2. Engine Driver

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (Upper age relaxation up to 5 years applicable for SC candidates against reserved seats).

• Education: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.

• Technical Certification: Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver from a recognized government institute.

3. Lascar

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.

• Education: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.

• Experience: At least 3 years of service experience on a boat/vessel.

4. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (Upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates).

• Education: 10th Standard Pass.

• Requirements: Valid driving license for both Heavy and Light Motor Vehicles (HMV/LMV), sound knowledge of motor mechanics (ability to resolve minor defects), and 2 years of professional driving experience.

5. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS - Peon)

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (Upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates).

• Education: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Office Attendant.

6. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS - Chowkidar)

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (Upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates).

• Education: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Chowkidar/Security Guard in a recognized organization or institution.

Selection Methodology

Candidates will be recruited through a structured multi-stage evaluation process:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: Shortlisting candidates based on age, mandatory qualifications, and attached self-attested documents.

2. Document Verification and Biometric Authentication: Applicants must present their original identity documents and educational certificates for verification at the designated venue. Biometric authentication may also be conducted as part of the verification process

3. Written Examination: An 80-mark objective OMR test (duration 1 hour) covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Trade-specific topics. There is no negative marking.

4. Trade / Skill Test: Qualifying test for applicable roles (e.g., driving test for CMTD).

5. Final Merit Selection: Formulated strictly according to marks achieved in the written test.

Step-by-Step Offline Application Instructions

1. Visit the official website (indiancoastguard.gov.in) and download the prescribed Annexure-I application layout.

2. Fill out the form neatly in either Block English or Hindi script without corrections or overwriting.

3. Affix a current self-attested passport-size color photo on the designated corner of the form.

4. Gather self-attested copies of the following mandatory documents:

   • Valid Identity Proof: Candidates should carry an accepted government-issued identity document, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID

   • Educational Marksheets & Passing Certificates (10th / 12th).

   • Valid Driving License and Experience Certificates (if applicable).

   • Caste / EWS / Category Certificate issued by competent authorities.

   • NOC from current employer (if serving in Government bodies).

5. Include two additional loose passport-sized photos and the ?50 stamped self-addressed envelope.

6. Place all documents inside an envelope and superscribe in BOLD LETTERS on top:
   "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [POST NAME] - CATEGORY [CATEGORY]"
